What is happening to the new plus FIREBALL add on feature?
Great things! Now, a FIREBALL number will always be drawn to improve your chances of winning a prize. In order to always offer a FIREBALL number, there will be a new prize structure for plus FIREBALL. The base prize for Pick 3 and Pick 4 will not be affected.
What is happening to Pick 3 and Pick 4?
The Pick 3 and Pick 4 base games you love will not be changing.
What is plus FIREBALL? How do I win with this add-on feature?
After the winning numbers have been drawn for both Pick 3 and Pick 4 base games, a plus Fireball will be drawn for each game from a pool of balls numbered 0 to 9. Players who selected plus FIREBALL will win plus Fireball if the plus FIREBALL number can replace any of the numbers drawn to create a winning plus FIREBALL combination that matches the player’s numbers for the player’s play style.
Example: A player selects the numbers 2 5 3 and adds plus FIREBALL to their straight wager. The Lottery draws the winning numbers 1 5 3, in this example with a plus FIREBALL number of 2. In this instance, the plus FIREBALL number 2 would replace the first digit of the winning numbers drawn to create a winning plus Fireball combination. Because the player selected the plus FIREBALL add-on feature, they were able to turn a non-winning ticket into a winning ticket by matching the new winning plus Fireball combination ( 2 5 3 ) to their selected numbers ( 2 5 3 ).
What Happens If The plus FIREBALL Number Is The Same As My Selected Numbers?
In the event the plus FIREBALL number is the same as one of the winning numbers, and the player’s numbers match the numbers drawn for that play style, the player will be awarded the Pick 3 or Pick 4 base prize and the plus FIREBALL prize for all winning plus FIREBALL combinations for the player’s play style and wager amount.
Example: You play 1 2 2 straight for $.50 and add plus FIREBALL, doubling the price to $1.00. The Lottery draws Pick 3 numbers 1 2 2 and the plus FIREBALL number is 2. You would win 3 times – once for matching the winning combination (straight) of 1-2-2 for the base game and twice more for replacing both winning numbers of 2 with the plus FIREBALL 2. Using this scenario, you would win $500, $250 for the base prize and $250 for matching 2 winning plus Fireball combinations.
How Much Does plus FIREBALL Cost?
The cost for plus FIREBALL is equal to the cost of your original base wager (for example: if your original base wager is $0.50, your plus FIREBALL wager will be an additional $0.50). You cannot add plus FIREBALL to individual games unless you use separate play slips.
How Does plus FIREBALL Affect Multidraw Purchases?
When you select plus FIREBALL, this will apply to all games (boards) on a play slip, including advance plays. If you do not want to add plus FIREBALL to all of your advance purchases, multiple play slips must be used.
